Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are enjoying preparing for their wedding but are in no rush to plan their happily ever after.
A source recently spoke to People about the highly-anticipated wedding between the Life of a Showgirl singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, revealing that the couple aren't in a hurry to walk down the aisle and that when it comes to making decisions for the big day, both Swift and Kelce are "equally involved" in the process.
"When it comes to wedding planning, nothing feels rushed or one-sided," the insider said. "They're both equally involved and excited, and this isn't something one or the other is carrying on their own. They're approaching it as a partnership, talking things through together and enjoying the process in a way that feels natural to them."
While neither Swift nor Kelce have shared details for their upcoming nuptials, there have been reports that the pop superstar and the Super Bowl champion are eyeing a special date next year for their ceremony.
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement on August 26 after two years of dating, writing, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," and sharing photos from the romantic garden proposal. The "Opalite" hitmaker previously said her beau "crushed" the proposal despite how nervous he was and recently described him as the "love of [her] life."
