Miley Cyrus would like to make a return to acting.
The "Flowers" singer, 33, spoke with The Hollywood Reporter on Saturday (January 3) at the Palm Springs International Film Festival about how much she would "love to" flex her acting skills after a years-long hiatus from the big screen, with the exception of her 2025 visual concept album Something Beautiful. Surrounded by "genius" minds at the festival, Cyrus explained that she hoped to connect with someone with a creative plan, per People.
"I hope some brilliant mind in here has the right thing for me," she said. "Let's see. Remind them. If someone genius comes by, by like, 'Hey, Miley is here.'"
The newly-engaged star continued, "Just tell them, 'What do they want me to do?' I would love to go into someone else's world. I'm the boss in my own world."
Cyrus is no stranger to being in front of the camera, most notably starring as the titular superstar in Hannah Montana from 2006 to 2011 and appearing in films like The Last Song and LOL; however, her last major acting credit comes from her appearance in a 2019 episode of Black Mirror.
Though she hasn't donned Hannah Montana's iconic blonde wig in years, she teased potential anniversary plans for the show to Variety while at the festival, admitting that while she "can't tell" anything about it, they are "working hard on them."
