Miami soccer star Lionel Messi just set a new Leagues Cup all-time scoring record, for a hot minute.

He scored two goals in the first half of Inter Miami's 4-2 Leagues Cup win against Atlético de San Luis Wednesday night.

Messi became the competition’s top scorer with 14 goals in just 12 appearances for Inter Miami surpassing Los Angeles FC’s Denis Bouanga who racked up 13 goals in the tournament.

Later that same night, Denis Bouanga scored a goal and now shares the all-time Leagues Cup leading scorer spot with Lionel Messi with 14 goals.
