The USF Bulls (3-0) defeated Delaware State (2-2) 59-17 on Saturday night at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. With the win, the Bulls improved to 3-0 for the first time since 2018.
The Bulls built a 21-17 lead late in the second half before scoring 38 unanswered points to take control of the game - in the second half, the Bulls outscored Delaware State 31-0. Quarterback Michael Van Buren Jr went 23-for-32 with 300 yards passing and a touchdown. On the ground, DJ Crowther ran for 101 yards and three touchdowns.
The Bulls are next in action when they travel to Bowling Green next Saturday. Kickoff between the USF Bulls and Bowling Green Owls is scheduled for 5:00 PM on Saturday September 26th.
