There's another COVID-19 vaccination site coming to Miami. On Wednesday, Mayor Daniella Levine Cava announced that Zoo Miami will be a new vaccination site starting Friday, January 14th. Mayor Levine-Cava said that there will be NO testing at Zoo Miami, only vaccines.
The hours of operation are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. According to the mayor’s spokesperson, Rachel Johnson, there will be 250 appointments available on Friday and 500 appointments on Saturday and Sunday. To register for an appointment, click here and you'll be directed to the registration page on the county’s website. If you do not see availability the county says to “check back periodically as additional vaccines become available.”
