Miami-Dade County has served The Dolphin Company, owners of the Miami Seaquarium, with a formal eviction notice for failing to surrender possession of the marine park. This is the latest development in the ongoing legal battle over the park's lease. The notice comes after the park's owners failed to meet a deadline to provide a detailed plan for the facility's future, as requested by the county.

Miami Seaquarium has been a staple of South Florida for decades, but its future has been uncertain amid calls for its closure and concerns about the treatment of its marine animals. The Dolphin Company filed a federal lawsuit on Friday and company officials have requested for a federal judge to block the eviction. According to social media, Miami Seaquarium will remain open despite this entire ordeal.
