Damar Hamlin is still recovering from cardiac arrest in the hospital after collapsing on the field during Monday night football.

In the wake of this, Hamlin's charity, The Chasing M, created to give back to kids in his hometown of Pittsburgh has hit $6 million.

The Chasing M’s Foundation first posted the fundraiser on GoFundMe in December 2020, with Damar writing:

“As I embark on my journey to the NFL, I will never forget where I come from and I am committed to using my platform to positively impact the community that raised me. I created The Chasing M’s Foundation as a vehicle that will allow me to deliver that impact, and the first program is the 2020 Community Toy Drive.”

While the original goal was $2,500, so far, the fundraiser has gotten major donations from Tom Brady who donated $10,000. Other names on the top donation are Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay with $25,003, Patriots owner Robert Kraft with an $18,003 donation, and Russell Wilson and Ciara with $10,000.

The Hamlin family posted a recent update saying, "We can’t thank all of you enough. Your generosity and compassion mean the world to us.”

If you would like to donate here's how.
