The price to park at Palm Beach International Airport could soon be going up.

The Palm Beach County Commission will vote on a proposal that outlines incremental rate increases over the next five years, beginning February first.

Right now, it costs between $7 and $30 per day to park at PBIA, depending on whether you park in Economy, Long-Term, Short-Term or Premium.

All of those would be affected by the increases, but airport officials say PBIA's parking rates would remain lower than those at competing airports in the region.

The airport also plans to introduce reservation and valet parking options beginning next year.
