(Miami, FL) - A Miami judge is allowing former Tampa Bay Buccaneer and attempted murder suspect Antonio Brown to travel to Tampa for business.

Miami Judge Marisa Tinkler Mendez allowed Brown to travel over the state's objection. She stipulated that she granted the motion to travel for later this month "only." And it would not be "a regular thing."

Defense attorney Mark Eiglarsh says Antonio Brown does not want to go back to jail so he will not violate the court order. He says Brown needs to work and provide for his family.

The former NFL star is set to travel to Tampa January 19-25th to make paid appearances, record music and stay with his family at his primary residence in Tampa,

Brown is currently out on $25,000 bond and wears an ankle monitor.

He's accused of injuring another man by firing a weapon outside a Miami boxing match in May.
