The students in the graduating 8th grade class at a Catholic School in Chadds Ford Pennsylvania were gifted the "Safe Shiel." It is a 10-by-12 inch plate that is meant to be slipped into a students back pack and turns it into a bulletproof shield..
Can I just say how outraged I am watching this video. Students who are about to go to high school should be getting new notepads or a laptop or something to help them with their studies yet instead these students are given bulletproof plates!

No offense to the private company that donated the plates. If anything they deserve a huge thank you for at least doing whatever they can to help in light of all the recent shootings but is this seriously what it's come to???? When did public schools become places that needed to be treated as war zones?
