After much criticism from LGBT groups over the last few years Chick-Fil-A has finally announced that it will no longer donate to anti-LGBT organizations.
I've actually been called out for still eating at Chick-Fil-A by my LGBT friends but honestly I couldn't help it. I sided with them but I couldn't give up the nuggest! (Sorry guys!)
Well Chick-Fil-Inc has announced it will no longer be donating to anti-LGBT organizations such as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes or the Salvation Army.
Instead they will be focusing their charitable giving to helping homelessness and hunger issues as well as donating $9 million to local food banks, youth financial literacy group Junior Achievement USA and Covenant House International, which helps provide housing and services to young people without homes.
Good for Chick-Fil-A for finally making the right decision however, seems like sus timing considering they aren't winning this battle against Popeye's right now in the arena of chicken sandwiches.
