Miami-Dade Bans Lap Dances And Alcohol Consumption After Midnight

Miami-Dade made a new amendment to the county's emergency order banning lap dances at adult clubs and also banning the sale of alcohol to be consumed on-site after midnight.

As a result of the rise in Coronavirus numbers and businesses not following social distancing guidelines, Miami-Dade has implemented this new amendment starting Tuesday at midnight.

According to the amendment, dancers will be required to stay at least 10 feet away from customers at all times meaning no more lap dances or "private room" dances.

The amendment also prohibits any establishment from selling alcoholic for on-site consumption between midnight and 6 a.m.
