Kazakhstan's tourism board is now using Borat's catchphrase to encourage people to visit.
After initially banning the first film, the REAL Kazakhstan is now finding inspiration from Borat and his catchphrase, "Very nice!"
According to the deputy chairman of Kazakh Tourism the catchphrase, "offers the perfect description of Kazakhstan’s vast tourism potential in a short, memorable way."
Before Borat's latest sequel was released, there was a petition to cancel the film and it was actually signed by more than 100,000 people.
Seems now the country is leaning into it and using Borat to their advantage to encourage tourism!
