Brightline announced it has reached an agreement to build a stop at Disney Springs as they connect South Florida to Orlando.
President of Brightline, Patrick Goddard said, “Our mission has always been to connect our guests to the people and places that matter, and Walt Disney World Resort is a tremendous example of this."
As of right now, Brightline has stops in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. They had been planing to have stops further north at Boca Raton and eventually Orlando International Airport.
Due to COVID and just 2020 in general the Brightline project getting us to Orlando was suspended in March but they're expected to still complete the expansion into Orlando in 2022 with eventual plans to build a railway into Tampa!
